30 Day Challenge_15_DIY

#DIY

I do some freelance work for people if need be. I've recently done wedding, bachelorette party and birthday invitations. This was an invitation I made for a friends mums 65th Birthday. I made quite a few variations. But they liked the invite with the flower. They wanted a photo of their beautiful mum on the invite. I tried my best to keep my customer happy. They loved the end result. I even received one of these invites myself, but we were already invited to a wedding ceremony on that same day. But I heard the party was amazing!

How to make a paper flower...

I can't remember where I found out how to make these. But I just love them. So easy to make and can be used in so many different ways!

A bit of DIY!

Handmade cushion covers

Cupboard cover
I thought I would share what I have recently been up to. I bought this fabric before Levi was born. So it's probably been nearly 3 years since I recently sat down to actually sew anything. I bought the fabric for the intention of making cushion covers to match our chocolate couch covers that by now are a little faded and stained lol.

The tv cabinet is a recent purchase. But for some reason the frame that covered the cupboard had no cover. So out came the left over bit of fabric to patch together and make a cover for it.

Not too badly done if I don't say so myself.
