Easter Holiday Away!

Last year our family and a few of our friends decided to go camping with kiddies... not such a great idea in the rain and in the cold. This year as crazy as it seems we decided to take a +-3 hour drive to go off and stay in cabins with our kiddies..... Mmmmmmmm A bit of crazy fun. We drove from Auckland to Rotorua! We tried our best to make the most of our time away! I'll let the pics speak for themselves.

Back home again!

Before and After....

I just decided last Saturday that I have totally had enough of working in a space that looks like this. So I asked my hubby to put together the shelving we bought a while ago that was just being added to all the stuff all over the floor. Took me a while to reorganize the space and to make it work for me.

I received some hinges to put together my three panel frame and hubby did a great job of sorting that out for me too. I will take a proper photo of it at some point. I thought I better take a photo of this space while it is still fresh and clean! I must say I enjoy spending time here. Hubby misses me so at the moment he is playing the guitar for me as I type LOL

How to make a paper flower...

I can't remember where I found out how to make these. But I just love them. So easy to make and can be used in so many different ways!

My Facebook page shows more cards and everything else that I make. Today I wanted to post some recent cards that I made for a dear friend of mine. She will be heading off to Venezuela in a few weeks to see some people that mean the world to her. What a great idea for her to take along some homemade New Zealand Mother's Day cards. I love how she especially asked for a Grandma's Day card. So special and personal!
